Media Credential
TERMS & CONDITIONS
In requesting Media Credentials for the 20NN Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on August NN, I do hereby understand and agree to the following terms and conditions controlling the use of such credentials:
1. I understand the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and its awards ramp show are the exclusive property of Pebble Beach Company, and all film, video and streaming rights are solely reserved for use and publication of the Pebble Beach Company and its assignees. Any right granted to media to cover the Concours does NOT include the right to film or stream the awards ramp show itself, unless such right is expressly given via separate agreement.
2. I understand that the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) over Pebble Beach Resort property is expressly forbidden. The use of any jibs, sliders, ladders, electric skateboards, and equipment carts on the event show field also requires permission via PBC's prior written consent.
3. I understand too, to avoid potential safety issues, media members will not be allowed on the show ramp, before, during or after the show. Postshow interviews with the winner will take place at the base of the ramp immediately after the winner is announced.
4. l will not use any photographs, slides, digital images, videos, films and/or other similar media ("Pebble Beach Media") taken at the 20NN Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance or related events anywhere on Pebble Beach Resorts property to create, or authorize any third party to create, any derivative work. Any use of Pebble Beach Media other than for editorial coverage of the 20NN Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance event, including, but not limited to, any use in videos, books, magazines, posters, artwork, computer software and print or electronic advertisements requires Pebble Beach Company's prior written consent.
5. I understand that any unauthorized commercial use of Pebble Beach Media or derivative works thereof is strictly prohibited. I also recognize the trademarks, service marks and trade dress of the PBC are owned and controlled by PBC. These include: Pebble Beach®, Pebble Beach Resorts®, Pebble Beach Golf Links®, Spyglass Hill® Golf Course, The Links at Spanish Bay™, The Hay™ , Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance®, Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance®, Pebble Beach RetroAuto™, Pebble Beach Classic Car Forum™, The Lodge at Pebble Beach™, The Inn at Spanish Bay™, Casa Palmero®, The Spa at Pebble Beach™, 17-Mile Drive®, The Lone Cypress™, Stillwater Cove™ and their respective underlying distinctive images.
6. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold PBC, its employees, owners, partners, agents, successors, and assigns, harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, suits, losses, government actions, judgments, and costs whatsoever (including reasonable attorneysཿ fees) arising out of any claim or action for bodily injury, death, property damage, or otherwise, suffered by employees, participants, competitors, spectators, or others at the Event to the extent caused by my negligence, omission or willful misconduct.
7. I agree to maintain General Liability insurance in an amount not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence.
8. I agree that submitting a media application does not guarantee approval, and Media credentials may be revoked at ANY time for reasons including but not limited to unprofessional or unsafe behavior or ignoring directions given by PBC or a designated PBC official. Such revocation shall be at the sole discretion of PBC and removal may be made by PBC security at any time during the event.
9. I agree that in covering the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, I will not promote items or brands other than those of Pebble Beach Resorts, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, or their corporate and concours sponsors amidst my coverage.
I understand that the information I provide in this media application form will be used to determine if I (and my team) qualify for media credentials to the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. I also understand that my contact information will be used by the Pebble Beach Concours to send me related news, and it may be passed along to its manufacturing partners and sponsors to send me invitations and news related to their presence at the Concours.
Note: Opting out of our communication precludes you from media credentials.
